Transformation readiness snapshot
Know if it's ready to proceed.
In a week.
A fixed-fee, one-week diagnostic that answers a single question with evidence: is a specific transformation, technology decision or AI initiative genuinely ready to proceed.
A scoped, fast-cycle variant of the AI readiness assessment — built for one live decision rather than an extensive organisational review.
Why it exists
A clear answer, before you commit further
Most decisions to invest in a transformation, technology platform or AI initiative are made with more conviction than evidence. The snapshot exists to close that gap quickly, before a larger commitment is made either to us or to the decision itself.
Over one week, we run a small number of structured stakeholder interviews alongside a focused document review, scored across three dimensions that determine whether a decision is genuinely ready to proceed. The result is a short, evidence-based view with a single named risk and a clear recommendation.
This is not a strategy exercise. It does not design your transformation or your technology roadmap (although we offer other services that do). What it does is give you and your board a defensible answer to one question, fast enough to act on it.

The framework
Three dimensions. One decision.
The full AI readiness assessment scores six dimensions over four weeks. The snapshot narrows to the three that most often decide whether a single decision is ready to move.
Data and use case clarity
Is the specific decision or initiative defined precisely enough, with the data it depends on identified and genuinely accessible?
Operating model accountability
Is there a single accountable owner, with the mandate and operating model capacity to see the decision through to delivery?
Leadership governance
Does the leadership team have the decision rights and governance in place to act on the outcome, whichever way it points?
How it works
Three steps, one week
Deliberately narrow in scope, so it can move fast without losing rigour.
1.
Scope the decision
A short kick-off to agree exactly which decision, initiative or investment the snapshot will assess, and who needs to be involved.
2.
Interview & review
Up to five structured stakeholder interviews, alongside a focused review of the documentation that supports the decision.
3.
Score & recommend
Findings are scored across the three dimensions and delivered as a written readiness view with a single clear recommendation.
What you get
A short, evidence-based readiness view
The output is a six to eight page written assessment, scored across the three dimensions, that names the single biggest risk to the decision and gives a clear recommendation on how to proceed.
It is designed to be used, not filed. Whichever recommendation it lands on, it gives you and your board a defensible basis for the next decision.
Proceed
The conditions for success are in place. The decision is ready to move.
Fix first
A specific, addressable gap needs closing before proceeding — named clearly, with what to do about it.
Pause
The decision is not yet ready, and proceeding now carries material risk that the evidence does not support.
Who this is for
Leaders facing one decision, fast
Built for CEOs, COOs, CTOs, CIOs and CDOs at SME or mid-market organisations who need a fast, credible answer before committing further to a specific transformation, technology or AI decision.
Before a board or investment decision
A significant commitment needs an independent, evidence-based view before it goes to the board or the investment committee.
A stalled or contested initiative
A transformation or AI initiative has lost momentum, and leadership needs a fast, honest read on whether it should continue as designed.
A second opinion, quickly
An internal team or existing advisor has made a recommendation, and leadership wants an independent check before acting on it.
Testing the case for a fuller review
There's a sense that readiness may be a wider issue than one decision, and the snapshot is a low-commitment way to find out.
